You don't need him when the fearsome Forlan is a-prowling.

hahahaha Man U will lose bad to Chelsea on the first game of the season. They have no decent strikers. S'pose they'll be playing Bellion and Forlan, quality strike force! :D

I don't really think United have to worry about scoring goals, the midfield is pretty adept at doing that. It's conceeding goals I'd be worried about, the defence looked terrible in the Charity Shield. Even Pony-Legs couldn't do his job too well.

Haha. That's quite amusing. Rooney will come to Utd next season. Chelsea will beat Utd this week, because after watching the Arsenal display on Sunday, I would be a very worried defensive coach back at Old Trafford.

Wayne Rooney will NEVER sign for Manchester United!
(Not unless this is a David Gill publicity-stunt done miles-behind Sir Alex Ferguson's turned back.)

With only Smith and Forlan the fit strikers, having seen the way didn't defend against Arsénal (or Steau...), it wouldn't surprise me at all to see Alan Smith upfront alone, with Giggs and Scholes supporting from midfield, Djemba-Djemba between them, Keane/O'Shea behind him, and four protecting Tim Howard.

(Basically the same we 'played' last night, with the same players.)

Honestly, though... I think Chelsea are gonna walk all-over us (yet, that doesn't neccesarily mean a '5-0 drubbing'...)

:(
