I've had this problem recently when trying to open certain pages.
When the page loads suddenly all my IE pages close!
This has recently happened on ebay when trying to sell an item, I select continue and all the pages close, the extension for that page is .dll ???

I'm runnign Internet Explorer 6 on XP :: anyone got any clues as to whats wrong?

Cheers dudes

mmm...

Well, my security settings were set to custom as I had trouble opening java scripts on the Dream Team website... I tried setting it to medium and still had the problem. However, setting it to High resolved the problem and IE doesn't close when clicking continue. Hopefully it has resolved the problem.

Cheers for the help dudes

Have you reset your security settings for IE to medium?

Ah so you CAN see the process list. It reminded me of a virus a friend had which would instantly close any IE (or Firefox) windows that it thought had anything to do with antivirus software. It also hid the process list.

What am I looking for in the process list?

Im fine surfing the net can go almost anywhere, its just on certain pages like that ebay one for example... Its at that particular point when I click continue that it closes all my IE pages.
