"64... " [eats a slice]
"63... " [eats another]
[Next morning]
"Two... "[slowly]
"One... "[finished]
[Marge walks in]
Marge: "Have you been up all night eating cheese?"
Homer: [slurred] "I think I'm blind... "

My favorurite comic book store guy quote is:

Oh pardon me Santos, if that is your real name, Bart Simpson. But your phony credit card is not valid here. Now make like my pants... and split.

. Cold, Hard Reality
From: The Summer of 4 Ft. 2 (Season 7)
Quote: Homer (Pointing out "the dud" in Dream Date) : "Hey, he looks just like you Poindexter!"

And all of a sudden Milhouse learns the truth.

-----

Lisa Learns the Truth
From: Three Men and a Comic Book (Season 2)
Quote: Lisa : "Well, you know what I think? I think Casper is the ghost of Richie Rich. Perhaps he realized how hollow the pursuit of money really is and took his own life."

We suspected the same thing.

-----

Homer Opens Beer The Easy Way
From: The Cartridge Family (Season 9)
Quote: Homer: "A gun is not a weapon, Marge. It's a tool. Like a butcher knife, or a harpoon, or...uh, a...an alligator. You just need more education on the subject."

Homer proves that guns aren't just for killin'

A couple more of Daily Radars top moments

(hey, there laid out much nicer than I ever could! :) )

Homer's Last Ride (Repeat Performance)
From: Bart The Daredevil (Season 2)
Quote: "You know boy, I don't think I've ever felt as close to you as I do right... Homer, slipping away on a skateboard"

After failing to jump Springfield Gorge, Homer is rescued and then dropped once again into the Gorge while strapped to a gurney. It was one of his earliest and worst beatings of all time

--------------

Homer Goes Undercover
From: Homer and Apu (Season 5)
Quote: Homer: "Don't be alarmed, Apu. Just go about your daily routine like I'm not wearing the hat."
Apu: "Your headgear seems to be emitting a buzzing noise, sir. Perhaps you have a bee in your bonnet?"
Homer: "Bee? Aah! ''[stomps on hat, runs out]

The coolest undercover hat ever made.

One of my favourite lines is where Krusty fakes his own death and Bart thinks its his fault but Homer tries to console him:

"Lots of people die all the time. Why you could end up dead tomorrow"

I think the best episoder is the 'Rear Window' one where Bart thinks Flanders has murdered his wife and the best characters are Mr Burns, Homer, Groundskeeper Willie and Semour Skinner!!

I have to say the my favourite scene in the simpsons was when Homer wanted Bart to stop crying so Homer pulls out a hair-dryer to dry his tears. Okay, this may not be as funny as hundreds of other scenes from the simpsons have been better BUT this was one of the 1st episodes I saw (all those years ago) and just underlined what the show was about. Semi-serious issues were always glazed over with absolutly histerical scenes/moments/phrases!
