I did some research on this a couple of years ago, it was quite interesting with what will happen, and there's no way of stopping it either unlike Asteroids...

I'm also pretty sure that 'Planet X' (http://xfacts.com/) should have hit us by now, there were loads of people ranting on about that a couple of years back.

Oooh, all these Armageddon style scares, they're getting quite boring now...

Make your mind up!

Yeah, I heard about this on the radio a bit earlier.
Sounds scary ... but surely a volcano isn't really that big - not big enough to wipe out the entire eastern seaboard.

On the subject of waves: I saw in the paper that some monitoring satellite has discovered that those massive freak-waves that are dismissed as impossible or extremely rare occur a lot more frequently that anyone had realised.

So there's another possible diaster for you.

Seen it on Horizon a few years back. Apparently it's sheets of rock at an angle that's being dissolved by the water so therefore an eruption would make it just slide off.

Planet X nonsense, pffft.

I saw this on TV a while back too, looks pretty bad and certainly would kill a lot of people, but surely not as many as an asteroid.

Should be monitored though, seems silly not to.

Nah the Yellow Stone National Park Super-volcano will happen before that, basically they found that a huge part of the park is one big underground volcano which would wipe out at least 500 miles in every direction and would engulf the planet in darkness, if anyone thought St Helens was bad this will be 400 times worse, have a nice day.
