In other words do the ticket holders and the ticket information have to match??
If you get a blokes name thats pretty generic "pat henderson" then you're all set.
If you're a big ginger scotsman and you get the name "Vingsheed Patel" then it's unlikely to be you - but do not fret! Just tell them your good friend, Vingsheed, was going to come but at the last minute he fell ill so gave you his ticket. They dont care. The same for a female name on the ticket - tell them your female friend/mum/sister fell ill and sent you instead. It does actually happen, they cannot disprove it - as long as the ticket is valid.
That is if they even look. If you've been to a non-festival gig you'll have seen 10,000 people cramming into a stadium - they only glance at the ticket enough to see that it's genuine and pull the stub off - they almost certainly will not look at the name.
Oh and if you do go, promise me you'll go see Thrice. Good boy.
Also, even if it is wrong gender, people buy more than one ticket because they buy for friends as that reduces the postage you have to pay and whatnot. So if there is a name, and they do pick up that it's a Mrs (which is pretty unlikely I'd think anyway), just say a mate bought it for you. They can't exactly prove it was bought off Ebay.
