I have Nero 5, not used it for months due to installation problem, jpeg shows the 2 messages I get when trying to install, using search (for Nero & Ahead) I cannot find anything on my hard-drive from an old installation, ggrrrrr anyone else had the same problem ?

Been told I need to remove somthing from the Registry, what's the safest was to do this and any idea what needs removing ?

Just get stuck in there, at the best you solve your problem, at the worst you have to reformat your computer.

Ooh, meddling with the registry is dangerous if you're not sure what you're doing.

Try getting a registry cleaner -I think there are some free ones around or some with trial versions. That should find the key that needs deleting (amongst others no doubt!) and hopefully sort your problem.
