So, do you think you'll get it? £13.99 is the cheapest price I could find. The release date I assume is correct but you never can tell. It's good that they're actually putting a lot of interesting stuff on the DVD rather than your usual trailers and scene selection, nothing more. There are a few there that I'd love to see. That's a lot of commentaries, 2 with Simon should be very interesting :D.

So yeah, can't wait to get this, it should do really well because my brothers have been fighting over who should get it and a lot of my friends have either pre-ordered it or expressed a very keen interest in it. (Especially having seen Spaced).

I have done some work with it in Spaced, and theres a Spaced special edition box set coming out where Tims dressed as Obi One and Daisy Leia (Sp?).

A good year.

It was funny without ever being hilarious. It would have been funnier if one of the lead characters became a Zombie for the duration film. That said I suppose people would have then said "it's ripped off An American Werewolf in London".

A lot of the clever bits made me smile but never raised a laugh; the flicking between TV channels being an obvious example. I also reckon that the familiarity of the actors reduced the film's impact.

Also some of the running jokes weren't funny;

"you've got some red on you"

"dogs can't look up".

Good but not great.

Got this from Amazon yesterday. Watched it, laughed my ass off, then proceeded to laugh even harder at the extra's.

Just seen this for the first time. Thought it was class, just like a feature length version of spaced, only with a slightly more serious tone.

The bit where they ripped that guy into bits was filth.

Funniest bit for me : "We'll take Petes car, go and kill Phillip, go and pick up Liz, drive to the pub, order a pint, sit down and wait til this whole thing blows over."

The British film industry needs more films like Shaun, and less films starring Hugh Grant in hopelessly unfunny romantic comedies. I can’t wait to see what Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright come up with next, though I’d love to see them spoof Star Wars.
