Has any one else had this problem. The reason i'm interested is because not only did the long wait get me down but the drive made some well strange sounds, especially if left alone for a while. I don't know whether its a common occurance on PS2's or just mine. all other games work great and are well quiet.
Any comments lads?

The person bought it, found the loading times to be too long took it back. Got a new copy and that copy worked fine and he was happy.
It is likely to be a duff copy. Duff copys are becoming too common, MGS2 demo, Quake 3, whats going on with Sony. In my gaming life with all of the games the only game I have had which was duff was a SNES game and now of course the MGS2 demo.
