Can't wait to see this in morning think it will be a very good game. Think the score will maybe be...
Arsenal 3 - 2 Manchester United
Bit of high score, but hoping to see some good goals
"But we didn't have Ruud."
"So what? They didn't have Vieria."
"We need Christiano to do his tricks for us."
"Like I care. You didn't need him two years ago. Besides, they didn't have Pires to dive for them."
"Our defence needs Heinze!"
"Your defence needs a lot more than Heinze. Only Pony-Legs did his part."
"...I wish we had Cantona back."
"Shut up and sign Danny Murhpy while you can."
"..k."
Andy Gray: "Arsenal look by far the more well prepared"
Having seen the replay, this sums it all up.
Look to have alot of pace and I think they'll just pip Chelsea for the Premierhip and maybe do well in Europe.
1 - Chelsea would've won everything last year if I was in charge
2 - Chelsea would be in the Charity Shield if I was in charge
3 - Therefore, Chelsea are in the Charity Shield
The Chelsea team will therefore storm onto the pitch to make it a three-way match. Joe Cole will score a hatrick against both teams, and John Terry & Keane shall ally to break Henry's face.
That asside Arsene will put out a much weakened side and resign the fact that there's no point in fighting for it over Man Yoo only to possibly lose if it even looked as if we were trying.
In short, it'll be even crapper than last year, but without the referee sodding about.
Man Yoo 2-0 Arsenal
Saw him in the "friendly" game against PSV last week and he was challenging for every ball possible, regardless of who got in his way. Sometimes i think he cant even see the other players on the pitch...
It'll happen.
> Cant see it be too exciting. Line ups will look more like a carling
> cup clash. Although Fergie has said Scholes, Fletcher, Smith and
> Saha will play.
United's weakened teams are still good, though: I was watching a friendly between a weakened Man Utd and a full strength Bayern Munich on TV recently, and despite the fact it was uncompetitive (Which counts for a lot), a United team featuring moslty younger players plus Scholes, Keane and Smith managed to hold the full strength Bayern to a goalless draw, although losing on penalties.
