What are everybodys views on this excellent movie by Gus Van Sant? I expect some people found it boring but personally I found it to be disturbing and memorable. Although the motives for the movies finale are not explained very well, and all possible explanations are abit shallow. I did love Van Sants let it role type of filming though. He just allows things to happen and unfold before you. So overall I think this is a short sharp, dose of reality which is masterfully told and. It has a deeper meaning I feel than what it shows. Superb.
Too much hype. Well.. not really, but too much hype in peoples' minds, not media.
Was really excited about seeing this film properly, when I did.. was majorly disappointed with wasting a load of money on such a crap, slow and boring film. Suresure, it's based on real life, but that's no excuse for it to be 'excellent'.
It's an OK build-up, enough to be called a build-up.. but one of the most boring one's I've seen. Follow people around for 5 minutes at a time. In silence, listening to the music which is supposed to make this film feel 'meaningful'.
Was OK, but it's leaving the collection soon. :)
