Surprisingly enough, I agree with you- if they watch this stuff, they're less liklely to feel understimulated and go on the rampage.

That's the problem which occurs when those who hold power are so conservative and narrow-minded, I guess.
The sooner we stop our Victorian, prudish, "I'm not having good (or any) sex so I don't think anyone should be shown having it" attitude toward porn and start regulating it so as to prevent runaways being drugged up and violated on camera, the better.
