Not only did he win numerous league titles and cups for Arsenal but he was also a forward thinker and modernised the game in the 1930's.
Highbury was the first ground to have a clock (Chapmans idea). Highbury was the first ground to be floodlight (Chapmans idea). Chapman also pursauded London Transport to rename the nearest tube station to Highbury - to be named 'Arsenal'.
Chapmans managerial record compares with the best (Shanks, Ferguson, Paisley etc) but Chapman was much more than just a manager.
