Is this likely to be a genuine plug-in to run Limewire or is it spyware?

I've never had spyware from Limewire.
And it's actually far, far better than Kazaa Lite.

Limewire is on par with Kazaa for spyware.
Get KazaaLite K++, no spyware, and far better than most of the other crap.

Limewire seems to be the best download software available, in my eyes.
The java environment plug in doesnt affect the computer at all and limewire seems to be less of a pain in the buttski. Less spyware and less viruses (in fact I have never had a virus off of limewire and iv'e had limewire for about 1 year). Its fine, doesnt cause too many problems, only one i have had is a processor problem, like to eat quite a bit of processor power, but other than that its fine.

If you've been stupid enough to install Limewire in the first place then you don't need to worry about any more spyware.
