F2S was actualy running a trial to test their systems out (lasted years and years), when all the bugs had been worked out and they were sure they could offer a high quality service this was switched to a paid service.

Time was the best free hosts were Freedom2Surf. Man those guys rocked. I think all the free users sent them under or something, I can't remember.

£6.99 odd for the .co.uk for 2 years and £0 for the hosting.

Interested?

btw, it's what I use so it's not a scam.

Nice and cheap if you simply want a .co.uk address. Unsure how much their hosting is, didnt bother looking.

Yeah, it's easy, just go to your bed, lie down, and close your eyes.

Seriously though, for a fiver with a domain you'd be pushing it. Freeola offer you a free website such as "www.yourname.freeola.com", or you can buy a domain with free hosting for about £15, I think. You need to dial up to the Freeola ISP to upload though. I run a web hosting service, but that's going to cost you at least £15 for the basic package and another £15 for the domain.
