If you love RPG's then tales of symphonia is well worth it, I'm on my third play through right now and it's still enjoyable.
What type of game you after?
If your after a game like Tales, then its worth getting but something like Resi 4 is worth saving your money for.
Resi and the new timesplitters are out on the same day.

Depends if you have friends I guess.
the new zelda looks mint.i recommend that to any title coming out now till march.if your looking for a game now then metroid prime 2 or tos are great games.
Resident Evil and Zelda will be exceptional.
Zelda has no release date.. oh and timesplitters is out on the 25th now.
Get the original Metroid Prime, it's cheap and extremely good.
For the price of a new game you can get Eternal Darkness, Gladius and a game from the classics range.
