A few Jeff Hardy reports all pretty much confirm that hehasn't changed a bit...

"Jeff Hardy gave everyone in TNA a bit of a scare on 7/21, as he cancelled two of his flights and arrived late to the TNA PPV.

The next morning, all of the wrestlers take a van from the hotel to the airport to take the first flight out to Orlando but Hardy wasn't there. When Jeff was finally woken up, all of the wrestlers had to wait about 25 minutes for him to get ready, and it rubbed some people the wrong way.

The company has now put Frankie Kazarian in charge of Hardy to make sure that he gets up on time. They will also continue to have Dusty Rhodes do promos for him due to the fact that TNA doesn't have faith in Jeff to do his own, though, the crowd sees him as a real star."

and...

"After missing flights when travelling to work for TNA, this resulted in a phone call from Jeff Jarrett during his first night with the company, Jeff Hardy then went on to miss more flights during his return visit.

A source reports that Hardy was scheduled for an early flight, but waited to take the last available flight that arrived in Nashville in time for his appearance on the July 21 pay-per-view. He also caused a commotion the following morning when he overslept and had to be awakened by a wrestler that TNA officials sent to check on Hardy. Hardy was scheduled to accompany the crew to Orlando for the Impact tapings, so his tardiness held up the bus that takes the crew to the airport by at least a half-hour.

This resulted in several wrestlers within TNA becoming frustrated with Hardy's tardiness and complained openly about it while waiting on the bus. Apparently Monty Brown was the most vocal of the bunch, as he was concerned that the breakfast he had ordered (the TNA crew typically orders breakfast from a Nashville wafflehouse to eat on the bus that takes them to the airport) was going to be cold.

Brown may have also been upset because TNA officials informed him that they want him to put Hardy over at the next pay-per-view. According to wrestlers within the company, Hardy is quiet and somewhat awkward backstage.

"He's weird," said one wrestler. "He's like Teddy Hart minus the pretentiousness, but he does have a rock star aura about him." Another source added that Hardy "has a great deal of talent, but he's totally uninspired."

However, on a plus side TNA wrestlers were pleased that Hardy was not given the special treatment that other big name wrestlers often receive from the company. He stayed at the same hotel as the other wrestlers, which is a change from some of the bigger names the company has used in the past. The word backstage at Impact was that management is so concerned about keeping Hardy in line that they've assigned someone the task of making sure he gets up on time in the morning and isn't doing anything too out of the ordinary on night’s before shows."

Looks like a WWE return is still a long, long way away for Jeff. Isn't it about time he grew up and took his reponsibilities seriously, instead of acting like a spoilt brat?

There's an interesting Jeff Hardy interview up over at NWATNA.com. I've extracted the interesting bits...

On his experience with TNA so far:
"It’s been exciting. I came here with a new future, and that’s the vibe I bring to the ring. When I first saw the six sided ring, I knew it was the future of wrestling. As we speak, I’m rediscovering my drive and desire for wrestling. I feel excited for the first time – in a long time – to be wrestling again. That’s what I needed from all this – to be excited. I’ve found it here. I’ve found the passion again."

On returning to wrestling and wrestling AJ Styles:
"It was great to hear them and to be back out there. There wasn’t a week that went by that my brother Matt didn’t stop by my house to talk to me about wrestling. I kept putting it off, but finally I picked up the phone and called TNA. The night before the show we spoke to iron out the details, and when I first heard AJ’s name as the opponent I thought to myself “Man, I don’t know if I can hang with AJ this quickly after being out so long.” To be honest, I didn’t feel confident in myself. But I told myself I wanted to do it and I could do it. It went well and I was fairly surprised with myself in the match."

On Ultimate X:
"Man, I was really impressed with that match. I would love to take part in that match in the future. It’s a definite breakthrough in wrestling and probably the most creative match since the Ladder Match was introduced."

On his fans:
"I love my fans more than anything. The past few weeks I’ve been here, I’ve had to rush all over the place and take shuttles everywhere…always on the go. But this week, I rented a car and I’m going to stick around and see some of my Team Extreme fans from the internet. The fans on the internet really increased my popularity and backed me during my career, so I’m going to stay out until 3AM if I have to just driving around to see them. When I come to the arena and see fans with posters and action figures of me, you’ve got to give back to them."

Jeff then, talking a good game, but not back it up in the ring so far...

Do you think TNA would put the world title on him?

It seems like he is still unmotivated and his obvious lack of enthusiasm is just going to get him fired again. Even if I were doing something I didn't really like, I'd still give it my best shot. Obviously, he'd rather pee everyone around him off instead.
