Been looking into this every club highlights thing, it appears it will rule muchly. 50 mins of highlights minimum from each match! qualatay. The advert rules to:

Who is the best team in the world? then they flash up the chelsea badge. Played sky!

can't wait to get constant highlights!

I remember his genius last season, when he managed to hit the bar from 2 yards out.

Actually, the last highlights of Liverpool on there where Owen cheering his goal against Everton ;)

They'd have footage of Spurs losing, but even that bores the t!ts off of everyone!

Why because you know you're about to see highlights of Liverpool losing again?

About time as it only normally shows extended highlights when it's Man United, Chelsea, or Arsenal playing.

At least this time I'll be able to see 50 minutes of every match we play.

I feel quite 'sorry' (or something) for the BBC...

I mean, we've had to put up with dog-awful The Premiership every Saturday night on ITV for 2-or-3-years now... (it could well be longer, even, but I've totally lost count)

And now, they finally get their chance to bring back the classic, one-and-only Saturday night highlights package - and, along come Sky to 'flash-their-cash' to ruin it all for Gary Lineker and co.! :(

I've got nothing against SkySports - for the money they have, they certainly have some of the best football pundits and commentary teams around. But, the BBCs are also still very good. Both sides know their football - they don't read pre-scripted, 'modernised' crap like Andy Townsed and Ally McCoist would!

Where was Rupert Murdoch when the BBC first lost the rights, anyway!?!?
We would not have had to suffer for so-long...

Muh, I don't have Sky. Never mind, Match of the Day is back. Hansen shall soon be describing Henchoz's efforts as "diabolical defending och aye" again.

I'd love to see Lineker's cue-card. It'd be something like:

1 - Turn slowly to camera
2 - Raise eyebrows in Des-type way
3 - Appeal to midsdle-aged women in Des-type way
4 - Waggle oversized ears in a loveable scamp-type way
5 - Make bad joke, involving pun on a name.
6 - Tilt head slightly towards Hansen, thus assuring dominance.
7 - Raise eybrows once again
8 - Cut to montage of Owen scoring a hatrick

I love BBC montages. They always ahve the comedy music. I remember before the first England Euro 2004 game they had a Franky Lampard montage, set to The Rasmus - In The Shadows. It was awesome.

'Frank emerges slowly from the tunnel, music starts, Frank scores a goal "I've been watching, I've been waiting..", picture of Nicky Butt looking downcast "In the shadooooooooooows" '

Excellence.

Yeah. They have cricketing based ones sponsoring C4 cricket.

I like the fluke one and the cloud formations one.

As for the football ones, I like it when the guy gets pisssed and plays the tape over and over again.
