After my 2nd Hercules 9800SE AIW got borked and since my retailer no longer stocks hercules products i had to RMA my card back to hercules, the replacement cards themselves come from france, so i had a good few weeks to wait, however i would say it was worth it.
I sent off my 9800SE...and got this replacement.

Sounds like a drivers problem to be honest. I know some of the old DNA drivers misidentified certain cards.
Anyone know where i can get a hercules 9800 pro AIW bios? It shows up in xp as a 9800SE, but the card is clocked at 378/337.50 out of the box.
Good heh. GPU cores tend to be big and shiny - might be mistaken for a shim heh.
The one round the core of the GPU, dont worry, i didnt break the core.

Everytime ive tried to fit an artic cooler it hasnt worked. I even removed the shim.
