Evening one-and-all. After an OD pedal me is. Thinking of the MXR Zakk Wylde one, od the BOSS MT-2. Does anyone have/has anyone ever played either of these? If so, what do you think?! Or can anyone recommend a different one which is also 'le nads du chien'? I've had the MXR Micro Amp recommended to me aswell buy a guy in a shop but thats really just a gain boost.

Another possibility ive encountered is wiring a clever circuit into my actual guitar. The EMG-AB Afterburher perhaps? Does anyone have one of them in their guitar?

Ah, i see. I'm probably going to go for the MXR Micro Amp coz all i want is a signal boost for solos, the tone's gonna come form the amp (Marshall valve stack!! :D), and an actually OD pedal would probably f**k up my tone and make it more distorted, i think anyway.

That would be strange, he has his own MXR signature distortion pedal anyway! The 'Dime Distortion', how original. He also has a ton of other equipment, including Randall Warhead 300W solid-state heads, a Rocktron guitar silencer,he has the Furman PQ-3B parametric equilizer which he uses to boost his high frequencies, and some other stuff which is in the refrigirator-sized racks ive seen him use on stage. He also tunes his guitar down slightly and uses Bill Lawrence L500 pickups. I really shouldnt know all that.....

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Very pleased
Very pleased with the help given by your staff. They explained technical details in an easy way and were patient when providing information to a non expert like me.
