...Welcome to another irregular column from me the Cong_Man, where I will continue my crusade to get all you lot watching a wrestling product other than WWE. I'll be focusing my attempts at NWA:TNA, simply as they are the biggest 'other' federation out there. I'll start by previewing tonight's PPV, which will give you some idea of what TNA have on offer and hopefully get you to tune in on the Wrestling Channel...
THE RETURN OF THE ULTIMATE X MATCH!
FOR THE X CHAMPIONSHIP
The Phenomenal AJ Styles vs. Michael Shane and Kazarian
If you haven't yet seen AJ Styles, then you have missed out. The guy is quite simply the best wrestler in the world right now. Shane is Shawn Michaels Cousin and doesn't fly as much as the rest of the X-Division and Kazarian can go, but lacks charisma. This will be a tremendous match, with the championship suspeneded above the ring by two wires (crossing over in the shape of an 'x', the winner is the man who can find a way to get the belt down.
NUMBER ONE CONTENDER’S MATCH
Jeff Hardy vs. The Alpha Male
Looks like a mis-match to me. Hardy the flyer, vs big brawler and over-pushed numpty Monty Brown. Surely TNA have better guys than this to go for the world title. Oh well, some of you like Hardy...
NWA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
Champions The Naturals vs. XXX
The Naturals are a talented but very green team who should not yet be champions. XXX consist of Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper who are amazing. Expect former champions America's Most Wanted to get involved at some point though.
AMERICA’S MOST WANTED vs. TEAM CANADA w/ Coach D’Amore
The quality of this match will depend on who turns out for Team Canada, as the faction contains two amazing workers (Williams and Evans) and two poor workers (Roode and umm, whatshisname...)
WILL RAVEN AND SABU FINALLY COLLIDE?
Raven made his shocking return to TNA on Wednesday night, costing Sabu his match against Abyss when Raven pushed his former friend off the top balcony and sent him crashing to the arena floor. In a final horrific act, Raven stood above the injured Sabu – screaming at the Homicidal, Genocidal, Suicidal superstar to fight him! So far Sabu has resited Raven's attempts to get him to attack him as he made a a promise to his Uncle The Sheik, that he would not fight another sheik student (Umm, well that's a duff storyline as Sabu faced Rob Van Dam many times in ECW...)
THE MONEY VS. THE CONTRACTS
Abyss and Alex Shelley w/ Goldylocks vs. D-Ray 3000 and Sharkboy
D-Ray 3000 is be one of the most popular and entertaining superstars in TNA, but he may not be the smartest for accepting Goldylocks challenge. In a “Money vs. Contracts” match this Wednesday night, Abyss and Alex Shelley will take on D-Ray 3000 and Sharkboy with two important stipulations. If Abyss and Shelley win, D-Ray, Sharkie and their contracts will belong to Goldylocks. But if D-Ray and Sharkboy pull off the win, they’ll be TNA’s unlikeliest millionaires – and Goldy will be flat broke!
DAVID YOUNG vs. REFEREE MIKE POSEY
Is David Young the inverted Goldberg? Quickly approaching his 100th loss without a win, David Young needs a victory or else he’ll be the first victim of the Gut Check List and kicked out of TNA. He didn’t exactly shows any signs of hope this past Wednesday when he was beat by TNA referee Mike Posey in a six man match. As a result, Young made a promise to Director of Authority Vince Russo and TNA – if he can’t beat referee Posey in a match this Wednesday night, he’ll pack his bags and leave TNA for good! Can David Young FINALLY win a match (albeit against a referee)? Or, will Posey be the one to boot Young from TNA? Tune in for what could possibly be David Young’s last match!

You'll never see Juve in the WWE. His spell in TNA was ended by the TNA wrestlers he worked with complaining to management that he worked sloppy/stiff and put them in danger of injury as well as exhibiting an obnoxious attitude backstage and demanded the finish of his matches were changed to make him look better. WWE does not need someone like that, one HHH is enough for any company!

Loved watching the cruisers in the america cup the other day, if only to see The Juice, Juve back in action. One of my favourite cruisers of all time and the WWE should have signed him (if they used him right of course) he had tons of charisma and wrestling ability.
It's amazing how many of the guys in TNA I've actually heard of.
I thought it was just some crappy company but it actually sounds not that bad. :-D

Ant, as I don't get TWC until tomorrow, I'm not sure if they are on a time dealy, but I'm lead to believe TBA on TWC runs a few months behind...

Yep, they are sticking with the 6-sided ring. I can see the advantage this brings to X-Division matches, as it really benefits the high-flyers. I personally feel they should also have a traditional ring for the non-X-Division matches however.

Yep, they are sticking with the 6-sided ring. I can see the advantage this brings to X-Division matches, as it really benefits the high-flyers. I personally feel they should also have a traditional ring for the non-X-Division matches however.
TNA on TWC tonight is pretty decent. It'll be good to see Essa Rios back in action, as I haven't seen him wrestle since his WWE days.

are they sticking with the 6 sided ring???
it was a nice novelty, but i definitely prefer the traditional square ring. aside from anything else, a 4 sided ring looks more enclosed, adds to the psychology of a match...
