I'm trying to create a clickable link on my website so visitors can download a file from my freeola hosted domain.
Is this simple and if so can anyone offer me instructions on how to do it.

If you are hosting the file on Freeola please note an ftp link will not work and it will have to be linked http side, although with another ISP obviously this may not be the case.
If you are using notepad the method just provided will work perfectly, are you using any type of program to make the website in like Frontpage or Dreamweaver?

I'm using Dreamweaver, I'd preferably want the file to download to a persons computer without any new window opening or moving away from the existing frame.
If you're using Dreamweaver, just highlight the text and type the URL into the box on the bottom right of the window.
You could just instruct people to right click the link and tell them to "Save-as".

Thanks for the help, yeah I'll include those instructions. I'm one of the 4% of mac users and have a one button mouse so Control Click brings up the context menu. No harm in including both instructions for dummies :P
