I'm aware of this fact. I know what to expect thankyou. Trashy gore/exploitation cinema is strangely entertaining and fulfilling. More so than mainstream cinema. At least on a low budget directors have the chance to be creative with a no holds barred way of bringing gore and brains to all of us lucky people who own a little thing called a dvd player :D

Excellent Troma films : Terror Firmer, Citizen Toxie, Tromeo and Juliet, Troma's War, Class of Nukem High, Cannibal the musical, Rabid grannies, Redneck zombies, Surf Nazis must die, Wendigo, Christmas Evil, Parts of the family, Chopper Chicks in zombie town, Mothers day.
Rubbish Troma films : Monster in the closet (maybe the worst film I've ever seen), Unspeakable, Toxic Crusader 1+2, Class of Nukem High 2+3 and many more.

cannibal! the musical is genius. It's by Trey Parker and Matt Stone (South Park) and is a film they made in Uni. It wasn't made by Troma, just distributed by them. But I believe they provide the funding to add some extra violence.
It's not too gory, just funny. It's got a lot of songs in it hence the title but they're in the style of the songs on South Park, so it's funny stuff. I think it's only out on Region 1 but it looks like it has some good extras. I believe it has a drunken commentary, which should be amusing.
Not sure about the others but I suggest you read Lloyd Kaufman's (The big man at Troma) book 'Make Your Own Damn Movie'. Pick it up from a market place seller on Amazon. It's a great read, even if you don't enjoy his films.
