Is there anyway apart from chipping your xbox or buying re-writeable cds to transfer data from your pc to xbox and vice versa??
yeah you can buy one of the memory transfer things that plug into your usb port. I think it comes with an adaptor for the xbox but it works with pc's and ps2's as well. special reserve do sell them so have a look.

I bought the music mixer for this idea but so far i cant get my pc to find my xbox. Some people told me it was my cable but i have checked that playing system link and it works?!
I'm not completely sure, but I think the Xbox Music Mixer lets you transfer music from your PC to your Xbox. Not sure if any shops stock it any more though.
A re-writeable CD should do the trick, but burn it as a music CD not a file CD: Then your Xbox should be able to rip the tracks off the re-writable CD.
