If you want to learn how to shred i seriously recommend that you buy this month's Total Guita magazine (And no, i do not work for them!). The two things in particular that i found stupendously helpful were the Paul Gilbert tab (Racer X - Superheroes, never actually heard of it myself) and the lesson from the two Slipknot guitarists (Who, for those of you who still dont know, are both amazing shredders). With a combination of both of these, especially the 'Harmonic Minor Scale Octave Shifts', i can now play infinitely faster than...well...yesterday infact :p If you want to have a go i recommend you use palm-muting and alternate picking like i did, enjoy! Oh, and while i remember, the Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird tab is also splendiferously good fun! :D

SHEEPY, check out "BRO" (sometimes goes as "YRO") by Racer-X. Stands for Bach Rip-Off, and as a Muse fan, I think you'll appreciate the classical riffs used there :P

You'd never heard of Paul Gilbert!?!?!? Check out Racer-X - "Scarified", and ignore the singing (it's like an even worse Axel Rose). He's a God, pure and simple.
