Yeah. Just been hearing hear and ther "Where do you find new bands?" etc...

So I thought I'd make this topic. For new bands. Or old bands, that you've just discovered. Or even rediscovered. Or new bands that you've known about for ages, but that you just want to announce their good. Or whatever.

Just no hip-hop or rap or stuff like that... Please?

Anyhoo, anyone heard of 'Bloc Party'? If you've got MTV2, probably, if not, go find them. Song? 'Little Thoughts'. Great guitar duo after about two and a half minutes... Really nice. Not only that, but they're from London... Whoo! And you can tell, lovely little accent from the singer.

Also, slightly older band, more well known, 'Black Rebel Motorcylce Club'. Probably know them if you're into that kind of music, but their worth a listen. But give them a few plays, it grows on you... Especially, 'Rifles' and 'Head Up High'. Probably heard 'Whatever Happend To My Rock and Roll', which isn't their best...

i have been asked this question as well but what i really want to know is other than downloading from cd baby it is really hard to find independent artists good or bad. to me personally that is whats new, and fresh but everyone has their opinions i am looking for some place other than just cd baby to get new music from. anyone out there got an answer for me? i want not just a couple of new artists but a whole bundle of them.
