So now Gabriel '57 times better than Ashley Cole' :-D Heinze has been picked by his country to be in their football team for the olympics it seems as United for the first month or so will be without a few important players.
Old plaster ears is already going there and Rio won't be back until the Liverpool game if my maths is right and now with Mr Heinze going our defence and only source of creativity will be missing. So i'm predicting right now that within a month our title bid will already have taken a massive hit. We've just got to hope that Chelsea, Le A**e and Liverpool (just for you Stu :-D) won't go running off into the distance and have a good start to the season otherwise i'll doubt we'll be able to recover.
Fifa obviously have it in for us, can't think why :-D

to be honest ferguson has every right to be pisssed of about hienze, whoi has been brought as an over age player and wasn't really that predictable.
He has no right to object about cristiano, who was always likely to be going if portugal qualified, and who has a right to compete in the games. fact is he can't moan about him having played at the euro champs as he should have been at the euro U21s qualifying for the olympics, which he then would have qualified for anyway.

Strong words from Fergie. Have to agree with him though. Heinze has played in every game so far for Argentina (6 by sunday in under a month) and will surely be knackered with the olympics as well.

Well the papers are saying he'll take O'Shea's place which is the left side of defence. I think Fergie will play him there as when they were together Silvestre and Ferdinand were a rock solid central defence.
He did play in central defence for Argentina in the Copa America each game i've seen him in so he can play in either position, which was a plus for Fergie when he decided to buy him just in case Blatter decides he wants one of our defenders banned again
