Does freeola support IMAP for mail settings? I read some where that its better as you get less SPAM, has anyone tried this.

I can't see how this would reduce SPAM, as IMAP is just a different access method. Do you remember where you read this?

We do not support IMAP, only POP3. As Hmmm... guessed, we have introduced some new spam blocking methods at the start of this week and this has greatly reduced the amount of spam emails in our network.
IMAP is a protocol that allows you to view messages live on the server rather than downloading them but as far as I know it doesn't affect spam greatly because we filter spam before it gets to the inbox in the first place.
