I, Robot

Will Smith stars in this action thriller. In the year 2035, robots are an everyday household item. Smith Investigating what he alone believes is a crime perpetrated by a robot. The case leads him to discover a far more frightening threat to the human race. Looks very good from the trailers i've seen so far. Looks to be one of Smith's best movies.

9/10

Blade: Trinity

Realizing they may never be able to defeat the vampire hunter known as Blade, Vampires set Blade up to appear like a psychopathic serial killer, with the FBI soon on his tail, thinking he is some sort of horrible monster. Enjoyed the Blade series so far, but thought they could of been better. Haven't seen much of this film so far but the premise seems good.

8/10

X3 - X Men

There is much that is currently unknown about this movie's premise, but here's what is known. One likely subplot to be addressed in this movie is the status of Dr. Jean Grey, who experienced something strange in the second movie, something to do with something called Phoenix...I know a lot more about Phoenix than that from watching the cartoon series as a rugrat but I'm trying not to spoil the movie.

8/10

Alien Vs Predator

Set in the early 21st century this movie follows a team of drillers, scientists and archaeologists led by a billionaire industrialist who travel to Antarctica to investigate ancient pyramid ruins buried deep beneath the ice which predate those in Egypt and Mexico. There they find Aliens and the Preadators, lots of killing...The end. Liked Alien films more than the Predator series, didn't think much of the last Alien film though could be a major disapointment though.

8/10

Mission Impossible III

No details about this third film are currently known. I'm guessing, however, that it will feature at least one scene each of Ethan Hunt ripping a mask off his face, and dangling precipitously from a very high altitude. Scarlett Johansson and Ving Rhames also feature in the film, rumors are that the lovely Kelly Brook may be playing the 'villians' wife, that's enough reason to go and watch this

9/10

Star Wars: Episode III

The exact details of how this movie will bridge the gap between the original 'Star Wars' and the prequels aren't known yet. Expect this film to see Anakin completely changing into Darth Vader, the rise of the Empire, the end of the Clone Wars, the fall of the Republic, the scattering of the Jedi. Suppose everyone is a fan of the Star Wars series, either liking the original trilogy or hating the prequels or vice versa. Expect it to break the box office either side of the Atlantic though.

7/10

Oceans Twelve

Danny Ocean (Clooney) and the rest of a band of thieves and con men team up for another three huge heists, but this time they're in three different locations (Rome, Paris and Amsterdam). In Amsterdam, the prize is Rembrandt's "De Nachtwacht" painting, which resides at some museum. Meanwhile, casino owner Terry Benedict, whom Ocean and crew ripped off in Las Vegas, is hot on their tail, looking for revenge. Liked the first one, except from a few things that p!ssed me off. Looking to be very good so far, but not sure about the 'premise' though

8/10

Meet The Fockers

Having given permission to male nurse Greg Focker to wed his daughter ex-CIA man Jack Byrnes and his wife travel to Detroit to "meet the parents", who this time around are Mr. and Mrs. Focker who are as different from them as can be. Loved Meet The Parents and pretty much any film Ben Stiller is in, Robert De Niro and Dustin Hoffman as the two dad's should make for great viewing.

9/10

Others big blockbuster to look forward to:

Batman Begins
Resident Evil: Apocalypse
Indiana Jones 4
Jurassic Park IV
Superman
Pirates of the Caribbean 2
The Ring 2
Exorcist IV: The Beginning
DodgeBall: The True Underdog Story (GL)

Are you rating these films on trailers, or what you expect them to be like?

Even so, you're expecting AvP to be hugely disappointing, yet it still warrants 8/10?

I, Robot is very good. its based on the short stories by Isaac (can't remember his last name). its only loosely based on the stories as the film is more action and less psycological. Will Smith is good in it.

I'm American, plus theres only one of me.

I'm going to go and save the world all by myself in an incredibly stupid movie.

* * *

Seen it before...

Expect a scene where he kills off about 5 million robots with just a spud gun with loads of near misses.

And you forgot about Thunderbirds!!!11

Which in turn is meant to be absolutely shat from the early screenings.

Does he hit a robot in the face as it's just been made and say "Welcome to Earth?"

Does he give his friend a cigar when they're about to kill The Big Bad Robot Ultra-King and say "Not until the fat lady sings?"

Does he rewrite 'Just The Two of Us' to be about him and a robot?

But, most importantly, does Jazzy Jeff play a incompetent but loveable sidekick robot?

the robots have three laws programmed into them
1 can not harm humans through an action or through not acting
2 must obey human commands
3 must preserve own life but only if this does not affect the first two laws

or something like that cant remember the exact words.
