I'm going on a family holiday to majorca on friday with my mum dad and sister, which should be fun-ish, though I feel I have slightly outgrown the family holiday thang now and to make up for it im going on a boozy weekend with friends the week after. A family holiday for a teenage lad is pretty much an all-out masturbation ban due to such close quarters with family members and unless you're some sort of southern hick, or Niddle, you dont want to be walked in on whilst beating your meat. This is usually quite, for want of a better word, hard for a teenage boy to cope with due to sexy young beach babes who wantonly bare their breasts and rub lotion on themselves. It's like free porn without the cheesy music.

I shall also be bringing back a lot of cheap alcohol, including absinth, and having a house party when I return, which you're all invited to... except you.

I've recently become moderately obsessed with magpies. You remember the little nursery rhyme thing, "One for sorrow, two for joy...", well I reckon it's rather true. When I see one magpie on its own I always look for a second, mostly because I am superstitious to a point of nonsense, but still. Anyway the reason that a lone magpie denotes sorrow is because magpies are the most faithful creatures around and if it's little magpie husband or wife (I sound like a parent trying to explain this) dies, it will not find another one, but live alone until it dies. Bless. Slightly linked to this, I am annoyed when people say "Aww, he died of a broken heart" - people honestly beleive in their fickle little brains that the heart breaks and they die. It's like some warped version of Operation, where the funny bone is manned by Ricky Gervais.

Oh, and I had my hair cut and look like an angry England fan who is gearing up to kick you in the face and take your watch.

RAH!

I wasnt whining about it at all mate, I know I'll meet new people and have a laugh and probably not spend an awful lot of time with my family. There's cheap booze, great weather and topless girls to talk to. I'll have a great time!

Hey, so what if you're stuck with your family... It's still a holiday, y'know!

Did you have to pay for your break-away? I doubt it. That's what your parents are there for - just try to keep telling yourself that!

Could you really afford a holiday with your mates right now, anyway?
Are you all ready to go it alone?

There's nothing that says you have to stay side-by-side with them for the whole day either - they want this break as much as you do; chances are, they'll be willing to let you sray-away on your own, at times, only so-far.

You can still meet many people the same age as you in the exact same situation - after all, you are going to Majorca! You'll have some mates for the time your away... To talk to. To "hang around with", playing football and stuff...

It won't be bad at all! :)

(Then again, I could just be saying things so light-heartidly because I'm passed all this, and have just been to Spain with no parents myself...! ;D )

You assume that because they're too embarrassed to tell you to stop jacking it.

In reality, I bet they dread bed-time

There's nothing daring about it - he asks them to join in first, obviously.
Oh my.
