The tribute match of my childhood hero, my all time favourite footballer has just been arranged.

The legend and gentleman that is Gianfranco Zola is coming back to the Bridge to play in a tribute match on August 8th.

And I'm in America.

I've got a mate at uni who worships Zola too.

He's no Andrei Kanchelskis, that's all I'll say. Kanchelskis could take Zola. In football, AND in a fight. Then he'd have Zola's wife, for a laugh - Russian style.

But I'd have to travel to them etc. etc. Would cost more than a pre season friendly is worth....

I'd pay £40+ to see Franco tho.
