They've released countless Sonic titles across the board, as well as games like Super Monkey Ball, and a couple of sports titles for online play.
They are basically a third party developer and publisher now, that occasionally make exclusive titles like Monkey Ball for the Cube, or full blown cross format titles like the latest Sonic Heroes.

I know im sounding very dumb but what ever happened to SEGA? After they made a great console - the Dreamcast - they disapaeared?

But yeah, Nintendo where founded in 1890's (1896???) and made playing cards.
But Sony obviously won in the popularity stakes, both with the PS2 and PS1, mainly due to better marketing and being a more global name, due to it's other branches.

I say buys 'em all! Or whatever tickles your fancy...
And of the 'first generation' consoles, Dreamcast wins by leagues... Internet play, great controller, Jet Set Radio, Shenmue, Virtua Tennis... It goes on.
The Neo-Geo wasn't bad either, just a shame it was so unpopular.

nintendo is longest running game company, but playstation has by far better controller, so many different genre of games and has the sell catalogue to back it up.
