b) Were the extremely stingy Spurs board of directors ever going to give us around 30 mil to spend on him?
The answer to both questions....no.
The only reason he associated himself with us was because of Frank Arnseson, who 'founded' him. Ronaldo said he loved Frank like a father and would love to play under him again. So all Spurs fans got all excited, but no, it was never going to happen.
