After being mildly amused at the effort Mr. Snuggly's going to so he can sell his Matrix DVDs before he buys the box-set, I find myself in a similar position. Okay, so it's only one film in my case, but as soon as I saw the article I decided immediately to get it. Fortunately, I can simply donate my current copy to my dad as it's one of the few films he likes. So: apologies to you Mr. Snuggly for having a giggle behind your back.

I did read somewhere about a limited edition that also contained a CD of the soundtrack - if anyone else finds this can you put a link here, please?

£19.99 apparently, so it'll probably be available for £12-14.99 online.

The DVD Industry's latest scam - re release everything semi-decent with an extra disc that they know could fit on the original discs anyway, and call it "collector's edition".

I can safely say I couldn't give a toss about extras for the most part, unless they are anime DVD extras, which are usually okay. Still, there's only ever been one commentary track I've found entertaining in all the DVDs I have...

"More than 3 hours bonus material" and they feel the need to stretch it out over 3 disks?

Seems a bit of a cash-in if you ask me. If they're charging normal price for it then fine, but if it's anymore than the normal price of a DVD then it's a ripoff.
