Yeah its a long Review but read it because you might get some insight on a great book. Chill and Kepp the Peace.

'Be More Chill'

Author - Ned Vizzini

When I first picked up this book I thought 'great another coaster'. No but in all seriousness I thought ‘Be More Chill’ looked like another teenager aimed fiction. They say not to judge a book by its cover but it seemed with this book I was right on the money. However my perceptions of a teenage aimed fiction were mistaken.

I found myself immersed by the writing style of this book. Usually the teenage fictions that are stocked at my college library bore me almost to tears as their stories are written like I can’t understand the difference between plot and sub plot. But Vizzini matches a sophisticated writing style with obvious knowledge of his audience/subject. And the fact that the plot also involves technology threw Ned over into genius, as there’s probably nothing I love more than technology and the world of tomorrow.

I also like the spin on the story at the end, which attempts to give the book a purpose.

However I was disappointed with the ending of this book. The main story seemed to be fairly written and well planned however to me the conclusion of the story seemed to be condensed into fewer pages than I would have liked. The book ended too abruptly.

But I apologize if for any reason my review leads you onto thinking this book is not worth reading because it really is. Both for its well connected plots and its unique writing style, I think Vizzini deserves all the praise he receives for this book and I would like to read more of his work.
