It was on the front page of eBay, of all places. You can pay more to have your auction on the homepage, and that's what they must have done.

That sounds very realistic for western staff over there (I remember seeing something about a dead trucker making crazy money too) - ridiculous pay because of the huge risk of death.

If you didn't have to put up so much up front with no guarantee of work it'd be more interesting.
I wouldn't be that confident about coming home in one piece, but it would look like a hell of a gig out there!
And you get paid £500 a day?! Probably wouldn't persue it though, I'm a wuss :D
This bit stuck out at me.
A good question on so many levels.
Perhaps 'Who are the good guys?' when any civilian could be a potential assailant/suicide bomber. Or perhaps (yeah right) they deal with the questionable good intentions of those who have, well lets face it, invaded Iraq under false pretences?
