Couple of us in the office bought Aion over this weekend, after some persuading...... -_-

Not started out well, couple of "extra" charges. Admittedly this is you paying for the first month etc, so it's not really extra, but still......nice to be warned.

Trying to get on was fine, except that they are having massive issues with capacity. On our server, I attempted to log in and got put in a queue. Fair enough. What's not really fair, is waiting for 700 people.....

So I go to sleep, and try to log in Sunday evening. 2003 people in the queue ahead of me 0_o

But still, this is ok for the first weekend I guess. And when I did get in I was pleasantly impressed. Good play and details etc.

Anyone else thinking of it/bought it etc?

They have given you 30 days free. You just have to set up an ongoing billing method.

And I have yet to see a game that does not have teething problems when it is first released (MMO anyway).

If the problems persist I will drop the game faster than Superman flies, but I am at least going to give them a week to resolve the issues they are having. (As pathetic as I believe they are)

EDIT: Oh and the 2003 queue only took 1hr 30mins to go through. Not ideal but as I said......

You're quite forgiving eh? You bought a game (presumably at retail price), they've not given you 30 days free (like every other MMO on the planet) and queues are so long you cant even play anyway.
