Everton are just trying to muscle in on Liverpools Stanley Park stadium, idea of a groundshare with Everton is laughable. This has been going on for ages now. I'll be happy when the rumours stop and when Everton get relegated. Suppose only Everton and Liverpool fans can comment on whether this is a good idea or not, but its open to discussion

For the fans sake they shouldn't. I remember just before christmas they were planning to do the same with Villa and Birmingham, and none of us like the idea.

It just wouldn't be the same when you are playing at home and would mean the half of it would be Blue (Everton) and the other half red (Liverpool).

The problem with ground sharing is that the pitch gets hammered twice as much, therefore you'll end up with a terrible pitch before long. Maybe not as such in Arsenals case as they have a excellent grounds keeper and pitch.

You mean like it was proposed they do with the new Wembly? I think it would be great to share, I for one would love to see us share with Arsenal. There would be less upkeep costs, therefore more to spend on players, wages etc. The staium would no doubt be of a higher class and most likely bigger. It was also make the atmosphere between the two sets of fans at Derby's better, because there would be near on half and half as it's home for both teams.

It wouldn't decrease the rivalry at all, it may even increase it!

The thing is, is that if Everton (or perhaps Liverpool, which I doubt) get relagated, they won't be able to afford there share of the ground therefore everything will go to pot.

I don't think it's all such a bad idea, AC and Inter Milan share a ground, it only served to spice up their rivalry.

ghe does make a good point (even though he doesnt like me he will be glad i said that coz we are right) for liverpool and everton to ground share would be stupid, thats like arsenal and tottenham sharing or united and man city sharing. the fgans would hate it and it would just cause chaaos. however on the other hand many rival teams in italy share ground - inter (yay) and AC milan (boo) share the san siro and lazio and roma share the olympico in rome. but i think that as both of those have a long standing reputation in ground sharing and it is like a tradition whereas everton and liverpool just wouldnt work. itsa crazy
