I think they are saying back in the 1990's people stayed in a watched television. On saturday night on BBC it was Noels House Party.. (I So hate that man) And people in their millions watched it. However what do we have on saturday night now? Ian Wright :|
But then again i dont think its that its the programmes what have killed saturday night. Its just that more people are now going out. Plus more people tend to do other things than watch tv. Like computers.

Saturday night TV has always been crap. You were just young though so crap programmes like Noel's House Party seemed entertaining to you.
