A got round to watching this again last night.
It's absolutely brilliant, unfortuanatly it was shamefully over shadowed by the mass media frenzy of other "blockbusters", so many haven't even heard of it.
It's set in Brazil, and the whole film is in portugese (subtitled), but don't let that put you off because, like Battle Royale, the quality of the film really does overlook this factor. I hate having to release the film's main plot, so the best I can say is - It contains gang warfare, guns, drugs and violence, in the slums of Sao Paulo.
Brilliance.
