I was just wondering how your elders feel about gaming?? Do they play?? Do they watch?? Do they hate it??

My Dad likes playing games, but only on PC. The only PSX game he's ever played is Brian Lara Cricket. His fav games are Doom 2, Championship Manager and BLC.
I recently bought B & W for him for his birthday, but we can't play it cos we need more ram!! We're going to upgrade on Saturday.

My Mum has never played games in her life, but she doesn't hate them or anything, she's just not into playing them.

My grandparents like playing games such as Chess and card games on the PC, but that's it.

And on a quick note, my younger brother loves games nearly as much as me, and my 5 year old sister nearly completed Spyro The Dragon!

My dad has got a UK record, if not World Record, On 1080 Snowboarding's Deadly Fall track!

I can't remember the time he got, but I'll have a look if I can find the game...

My mum and dad love playing Free Cell on my PC, it's a load of rubbish. They don't like my games because theres always mass killings or i'm always raming someone against a wall in a car, lots of noise and violence, we love it but our parents seem to have been brought up without these being forced into our minds. We have the responsability of teaching our children, and our children's children to love these types of entertainment!

My mum had a time when she used to play tetris a lot, and used to do better on it than me, but didn't play any other games.

My dad liked playing the discworld games on the PC. Also for quite a while he liked playing puzzle bubble, and didn't give me much of a chance to play. They didn't play much more than that. I think they didn't want the sort of games that you spend weeks and months on, but the sort where you play a short time on.

They haven't played recently, and I'm at uni now, so I've got the computer, although dad has a new PC.

I think I used to like that sort of game. Now perhaps I have a longer attention span and expect my games to last a long time. Or perhaps my tastes have changed.

I think the reason I am into games is I've grown up with them so I'm used to them and the conventions, etc. Perhaps the next generation of parents will be playing computer games more, who knows.

My Mum will only play puzzle games because she's says the rest are too hard. My Dad will play it if it's a sports sim.
