Hmm? Been thinking for a couple of weeks now about buying a videocamera. Always wanted another one which takes videotape instead of memory cards but.. I wanna upload them! ;)
It doesn't help that my debit card arrived this morning.. :s [S]eek![/S]

If anyone has bought any sort of Mustek camera, wanna lemme know what it's like? It'll be muchos appreciated.

I want the DV5000. The camera I have eats the batteries within 10 mins of using.

Toys R Us are doing a Canon camcorder for £279.99, reduced from £349. I might buy that instead. Hmm.

That was a funky lil' review! Bought it now.
Soo wanted to buy it from this site, frickin' £96! but all I had was an Electron Debit card :( So had to pay £112 from some other site. Not too bad, though :)

The batteries went n mine after just over two weeks of near-constant use. That's probably the only area that could be improved, but if you turn it off after you've used it then it'll last ages. I kept filming my cats and silly things like that.

I'm just going from personal experience. The scanner I had from Mustek was great...the camera is a real battery drainer.

Just read some of the other reviews for it - they're all idiots. Someone complained about the delivery time (fair enough it got 8/10 in that review), but someone else gave it 3/10 because the viewfinder went funny when he pointed it at the sun. If you're taking pictures of the sun, then you're clearly an idiot. The viewfinder is fine, and the playback on the video clips is unbelievable.

Don't listen to Edgy - the parts all come from the same sweatshop in the Phillipines. I got the DV5000 ( [URL]http://uk.special.reserve.co.uk/q_GG6023_digital_camcorder_.html[/URL] ) a few weeks ago, and it's an amazing bit of kit. I even did a review, which you'll see if you go there, that sums what I think of the camera. It's purely awesome.

Mustek are to Sony what Lidl are to Walmart.

Don't get me wrong, they make good products, however if you ever use the more expensive models, you'll wish you saved your money a bit longer.
