In fact it probably easier to ask who isnt thinking about picking up on of the little beauties...
And although Nintendo pretty much own the market...
Quite easily beating off obviously superior spec alternatives...
The B&W GB Vs Colour GameGear
The 8-Bit GB Vs 16-Bit Lynx
etc...
Wether due to games, or following, or Nintendos constant marketing, even when there was no opposition, or even because your mates got a GB and that last game you played was really good... whatever you think the reason is, Nintendo have always been top dogs...
However about 6 months ago Microsoft announced their intention to make a hand held X-Boy to compliment thie X-Box and compete with Nintendo...
Something which most people (including myself) had pretty much written off as the 21st Centurys GameGear effort... in that despite the spec and the marketing, the GBA would ultimatly prevail...
Although now Sony have announced their own intendtion to develop and release a handheld console...
Although many GB fans may claim that the MS/Sony threat bodes no long term threat to Nintendo... I seem to remeber people saying the same about the PS1 (wait for the N64 to be released.. it'll blow the PS1 away!... everyone will want a 64, they'll forget the PS1 ever exsited)
It appears that after the GC, X-Box onslaught... the biggest gaming battles has yet to be fought... and will very literally be in our hands

Same here. Had a Gameboy for a couple of year, but it rarely got used so I sold it; still got a Game Gear that's never used.
Hand-helds just aren't the impressive to me personally; limitations of the screen I think; s'why I wasn't impressed by the PocketStation or VMS either.
Havent even read much about them.
Dont know why, just dont interest me that much.
