I was looking to buy the complete series three of Father Ted the other day...

Although unfortunatly I could only find it in video...

And with the entire series stuffed onto one cassette,
which would have given me 2-3 viewings before the vid becoes streached :(

...

Apart from which, I've been noticed few TV series get placed onto DVD... those that are are usually American teen programs... Buffy, Angel, et al.

I culdnt figure out why other TV programmes arnt being stuck onto DVD? ... Given the number of 20/30 somethings with comfortable, disposable incomes (and PS2's?)

And especially given the BBC's intention to show everyone how upto-date and modern their service and digial commitments are...

I'd have thought that even a small run of many programmes would be popular?

Does anyone know why that is?

Also... what TV series would you like stuck onto DVD?

:)

So far Blackadder, Dr Who, Spaced and many more have appeared. Yes, they are coming slowly, but at least they are appearing.

I'd like Red Dwarf (who wouldn't) and Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy on DVD at the moment.
