There was nothing wrong with that goal. Meier was poorly placed, so it didn't stand. Fair enough, we all make mistakes; that was a very unfortunate one. We didn't deserve to win, the way we played, but we should have. We should have been in the semi finals, but there's nothing that can be done now.
It's over and done with, but that was a very unfortunate event which has caused no end of problems for the England team and Urs Meier, the unlucky sod. The moral of the story? Don't get on the wrong side of the British gutter press.
But, looking forwards, there's still the 2006 World Cup- if the right players are on the right form, England could well be the surprise package.

bull. he and the rest of the england team were the 1st 2 know about it the day before. theyd been practicin for 2 hours ther. rui costa tho didnt know about it & the same happend 2 him.
