Morning sales fans! It looks like we have some summer sales madness on our hands this time.

HMV have just started their summer sale, not many games, but loads of DVDs and CDs. Overall a bit of a messy selection, some of which you can find cheaper elsewhere. Better instore than online, if only for the easy to find goods, but roughly the same on price.

Virgin's sale is better laid out, with some nice Cure CD's at bargain prices to advertise the new album, as well as some good anime and film sales. This one seems to be better online than in the shop though.

MVC seem to have the best pick of the bunch. They have the aforementioned Cure albums, some of them at £4.99, a good soundtrack selection including the funky Kill Bill soundtrack for £5.99 and an excellent sale on games and DVDs. I found that the instore sale was better priced than the online one for some things though.

Woolies have a few of their items on sale too, but nothing outstanding at the moment. They seem to go for the all-year sale rather than a big summer sale.

That's it from Sale's HQ today. All you budding sales folk feel free to keep this thread updated.

I'd go for the Shogun Digipack.

And, yes, Play.com's sale is pretty good too. Good Call.

Don't forget Play's sale. Has some good DVD's in there, and it has the original Austin Powers for £6.99. I don't think I've ever seen it cheaper than £20 in shops for some reason...
