I have followed football for 20 odd years and have noticed that teams dominate for a limited time. eg liverpool in the 70s, aberdeen in the 80s and man utd in the 90s.The next team to dominate football is Scotland.With our blend of passion and skill there can be no doubt we will be going to world cup 2002 as one of the favourites.Already accepted as the best of the british teams ,we will rollover the ageing germans ,overrated english and crying french ,while the brazilians ,argies and spanish will make up the numbers. my belief is proven by the number of quality young players who have burst into the Aberdeen first team and held their own against the mighty Celtic this season.Add to that the experience of our anglo-scots and you have a frightening combination. Next season Celtic will be a force in the champions league once they have added more quality to their squad.If they are drawn against an english team it will be a cracking game which i take Celtic to win. Within 5 years Aberdeen will be challenging for domestic and european trophies while rangers (huns) will be playing to crowds of 6000.
Belly, whats going to change in the scottish side before they beat brazil. They'd have to get owen before they would beat anyone.
