You could use telnet to upload your files if you don't want to use their dial-up connection.

It's not like that for all people. What if you don't have a modem, and you're connected via a LAN?

It's not with freeola, so you couldn't upload you files from the freeola dial up. You're not allowed to telnet in apparently, either.

So you're stuck.

I don't know, but I suppose you could use a php scriptset to manage uploading.

But honestly guys, it's a lot of hassle just to get round paying 10 pence every couple of days. If you can't afford this, then you shouldn't try to use it.

If you want a good free host, try Freedom2Surf (www.freedom2surf.net) but Freeola is the best for hosted domain names

Hey, what's with the 'post removal' tendancy here? I posted that message as a reply to some guy asking if it was possible, and his post is now gone. Why?

Freeola doesn't offer Telnet access to it's customers, if you upload not using the Freeola dial up you are contravening the terms and conditions and your account will deleted. I've seen it happen.

Can you tell me how I can use Telnet to upload to Freeola. I am getting fed up with using their connection when I have a cable modem.
