I'm not going to ask how to obtain a USB cable because I'm an idiot and cannot read my manual like over THREE people have done in the last month; I'm wanting some recomendations about which are the best camera phones. Why? Because I'm a sucker and feel the need to conform, and though I love my 8310, it's not a picture-taking beast. (If anyone wants to buy a Nokia 8310, give me a shout).

I've been asking around which are the best sort of camera phones, but people tend to always recomend their own, mostly because they know their own better than other sorts of phone, and also because they're stupid and bought the first thing that stood out in Argos, or got extorted by the Carphone Warehouse salesman.

Anyway I'm not particularly limited to one brand of phone, though I do tend to find Nokias easy to use and I dont much favour those "joypad" style controllers.

Except those brief stipulations I'm really open to your recomendations, so please offer me some camera phone knowledge.

It's a VERY nice phone, I saw a prototype unit a couple of months back and would definately recommend it.

Even better though, is the MPx (due for release towards the end of the year). It features a touchscreen and built-in Wi-Fi, as well as a full qwerty keyboard, yet is still very small and usable. It has a dual hinge so can be opened in normal flip mode or sideways for use with the keyboard, very cool. Unfortunately the prototype unit of this I saw was very unstable and kept falling over, but this will almost definately be my next phone.

Buh? 220? I wasn't aware of that one!

Just checked it out though, very impressive - could be my next phone now!

The Motorola MPx220 (which will be released next month) incorporates a 1.3MP camera and has a Mini SD Card slot as well as running MS Windows Mobile 2003SE for Smartphone OS. I'd say that should have the best picture quality of them all, plus the Windows Smartphone OS is amazing!

In what time?

I bet my phone could do it given enough time... (you know patience is a virtue)
