When I try to sign up for a Pay Pal acoount, first it asks me about the country, and the list does not include my country (which is Egypt) so I just choose the UK, then it asked about the country of residence, and that included Egypt, so I chose it, but then it asks about the county which is supposed to be in the UK, so does anyone know what does that mean ? What's the difference between the country of residence and the country where I want the acount to be ? And is it even possible for me to have a Pay Pal account ? Please I need detailed info about making a Pay Pal account.
I think it's because the Egyptian pound is a currency not supported by Paypal, so you have to use a currency foreign to you. I don't understand it really, but it may be due to conversion rates and inflation.
My advice? Email the company about it so you can get your facts right, otherwise carrying on may prove to be a bad decision.
