I can see what he means about Postiga leaving his home country too early for a big move to England, and maybe that does partly explain why he was unable to score more than "a couple" of goals for Spurs last season...
He's just trying to defend him and back him at the same time, for the inevitability of people bringing his past season's record to the surface, trying to disrupt his mentality at this stage in the competition. :P
I wouldn't go as far to say he's "one of the best strikers in Europe", however... Potentially, maybe so. Of the remaining teams in Euro 2004, quite possibly... The whole of Europe? No. He is not.
